A Scout is Reverent (12th point of the Scout Law). Troop 40 is sponsored by Saint Columba Parish. The Troop is normally back from an outing by no later than mid afternoon Sunday, this means that an evening Mass is still available for our Catholic members. When it is possible the Troop will make arrangements to attend Mass while traveling. All members that are traveling will be encouraged to attend.

We encourage Reverence from Troop 40 members of all religions. We will make every effort to provide a "Scout's Own" service when the troop is camping for the weekend.
